Many producers nowadays are re creating hit TV shows from the past. They are trying to recreate those previous hit shows which many viewers before watched. Now CW network and the producers of 90210 Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavin who also is the producer of the hit TV series Smallville has recreated a new story from another popular primetime soap Melrose Place.
Melrose Place is considered as the spin-off of the series 90210. It is the fifth series in Beverly Hills 90210 franchise. And of course it is an updated version of Fox’s 1990 prime time drama Melrose Place that features a group of young adults living in a West Hollywood, California apartment complex. Melrose place is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television.
Melrose Place premiered last September 2009. The new TV series follows the lives of the residents of an iconic apartment who will try on pursuing their dreams whatever it takes. The lead roles in this primetime soap are David Breck who played by the star of Maybe It’s Me’s Shaun Sipos and Ella Simms played by Harper Island’s Kate Cassidy. David is a bad boy and Ella is a bisexual publicist. The other cast of the new Melrose Place are Michael Rady, Jessica Lucas, Colin Eggesfield, Stephanie Jacobsen and singer Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. The shows alumni are also included in the show like Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett and Daphne Zuniga who will be playing their previous roles as Sydney Andrews, Dr. Michael Mancini, Jane Mancini and Jo Reynolds. This show will be as exciting as the previous Melrose Place. This show will be full of adventure, fun, thrills and excitements that will definitely catch many viewers’ eyes.
